Laser cutting 2D and 3D
DANPRES offers both 2D and 3D laser cutting in metal, steel and aluminum with the latest laser technology. In our state-of-the-art production facilities we can handle all types of tasks with laser cutting.
2D laser cutting
DANPRES offers laser cutting of components on our fully automated FMS system. The laser unit is a high-speed laser cutter from Salvagnini with an acceleration of up to 3G.
DANPRES’ laser cutting system is fully automated with a shuttle table and automatic supply of raw materials from the storage system, and finished cut components are, when possible, picked by two picking robots and returned to the storage system for further processing in the bending center or elsewhere.
Components that after laser cutting are not to be further processed, and which are not suitable for robot picking, are moved to a separate workstation for manual removal.
Working area for the laser cutting system:
- Laser cutting of sheet format up to large format 1500 x 3000 mm.
3D laser cutting
DANPRES offers 3D laser cutting of components on a 3 kW fiber laser from Prima Power. The system is equipped with a rotary table, allowing new components to be loaded while the system is cutting.
Working area:
- The laser has a working area measuring 4000 x 1500 x 850 mm.
