At Danpres A/S, our employees make the difference. Behind our solutions are skilled and dedicated people who contribute every day to development, quality, and collaboration across the company. Here, you can meet some of them and gain insight into everyday life at Danpres.
Lukas works as a Production Engineer in the technical department at Danpres and has been part of the company for approximately 10 months. He is involved throughout the entire process when new components and tools move from customer dialogue and idea development to series production and practical optimization.
A large part of his work involves being close to customers, suppliers, and production. In this regard, Lukas is a valuable asset to Danpres. As a native German speaker, he plays an important role in the dialogue with the company’s many German customers — especially as Danpres has a strong focus on continued growth in Germany.
“If a customer requests a new product, we aim to be involved as early as possible in the design phase so we can develop the best possible solution in terms of price, quality, and functionality.”
Lukas typically starts his day in the production area, where he follows up on the projects he is working on and reviews how operations have been running overnight. From there, his day alternates between operations, problem-solving, tools, drawings, and coordination.
For Lukas, one of the most important aspects of his job is the variety.
“There’s always something going on, and I really like that.”
He also emphasizes that the job offers responsibility and the opportunity to learn across processes and departments.
“Here, you are responsible for the entire project — not just a small part of it.”
Collaboration is also very important to Lukas. He highlights the strong sparring within the technical department as well as the close cooperation with colleagues in production. For him, a big part of job satisfaction comes from solving tasks together and supporting each other across departments.
“I really like my colleagues and the dynamic nature of the work.”
If Lukas were to describe his job in three words, they would be:
dynamic, teamwork, and development.

Monica has been part of Danpres for nearly 5 years and works day shifts in production. She works in the final stage of the production process, where she ensures that components are properly finished and ready for use.
A key part of her work involves grinding and finishing components to achieve the required surface quality and ensure they are ready for the next stage in the process or delivery to the customer.
“The best part of my job is my colleagues. I’ve made good friends here.”
Monica’s workday starts with checking the systems to ensure everything is running as it should. She then begins working on the components that are ready for her stage of the production process.
For Monica, quality is not something created by one person alone. It requires strong collaboration across multiple steps in the process.
“If we do a good job from the beginning, we can also deliver high quality in the end.”
Everyday work in production is varied, and some days require extra flexibility. When machines and processes run smoothly, everything flows well. When issues occur, it’s about identifying the cause, working together, and keeping production on track.
Monica also highlights that there are many opportunities to learn at Danpres.
“You can learn a lot here. It’s a place where you gain experience and are challenged.”
If Monica were to describe her job in three words, they would be:
physical, challenging, and team-oriented.

Kim has been part of Danpres for more than 18 years and works as a setup technician, operator and team leader in production. With his extensive experience, he plays a key role in the daily operations, managing hydraulic presses and supporting colleagues across the production floor.
A big part of Kim’s work involves setting up machines and tools, ensuring they are ready for production, and maintaining both quality and safety standards. At the same time, he is actively involved in training colleagues and ensuring that production runs efficiently.
“My most important task is to keep everything running – and to make sure the quality is as it should be.”
His workday is varied and often involves handling multiple tasks at once. Kim continuously supports colleagues in getting machines up and running and ensures that production stays on track – even during busy periods.
For Kim, quality is a central part of the job. He works thoroughly with measurements and process control to ensure that components meet all requirements before moving on to the next stage.
“I check and measure everything – it’s important that it’s right from the start.”
Collaboration with colleagues plays an important role in his daily work. He actively supports and advises others and places strong emphasis on ensuring that tasks are carried out correctly – even if it requires extra attention.
Production at Danpres is dynamic, with new challenges arising regularly. It is this variation that motivates Kim.
“There’s always something new – and that’s what I like.”
For Kim, one of the biggest advantages of working at Danpres is the level of trust and responsibility.
